Project Overview

King Attitude is a retail company based in Senigallia (AN), active since 2002 and operating 46 stores and 6 outlets across Marche, Umbria, Abruzzo, Piedmont, Lazio, and Emilia-Romagna. The brand has grown steadily in the fashion and sportswear segment, supported by a wide catalog including apparel, footwear, and accessories. Alongside its physical presence, King developed a digital channel aligned with its view of shopping as more than a transactional activity, placing strong emphasis on its customer care both online and in-store.

For over two decades, their mission has been to deliver a unique shopping experience rooted in inspiration and authenticity, supported by a wide catalog including fashion apparel, sports items, shoes, and accessories.

As traffic and catalog size increased, the existing technology platform began to show its limits. Maintenance costs rose, performance declined, and technical complexity slowed execution. To scale more effectively, King Attitude partnered with Byte-Code to migrate to Shopify and restructure its advertising strategy with the goal of improving efficiency and returns.

The Challenge

The custom platform required continuous customization and maintenance, increasing costs and slowing product launches. Page load times and checkout performance negatively affected conversions, especially during promotional peaks.

At the same time, Google Ads campaigns were inefficient. Budget was spread across low-competitiveness products, with limited focus on high-performing SKUs. The business needed a scalable solution that combined a faster and more reliable store with a more structured and performance-driven media strategy.

Our Strategy

We migrated the entire e-commerce operation to Shopify, building a mobile-first store aligned with a young, streetwear-oriented audience. The new platform improved checkout speed and overall performance, simplified catalog management, and enabled faster product drops while maintaining stability during high-traffic periods.

In parallel, we restructured the advertising strategy. Campaigns were reorganized around competitiveness and demand, reallocating budget toward top-performing SKUs and seasonal opportunities. Performance Max campaigns were introduced, supported by stronger creatives and clearer audience signals, while unprofitable products were filtered out to reduce wasted spend.

Gianmarco Guidi, then E-commerce Manager at kingattitude.it, adopted Retail Advantage, Byte-Code’s SaaS software designed to improve Google Ads efficiency. The tool enabled product categorization into performance-based labels: “AVG” for consistent performers, “Inactive” for inactive products, “Poor” for low-performing items, “High” for top performers with strong ROAS, and “Loser” for products consuming budget without generating conversions.

The strategy also included the use of Google Shopping Ads to maximize visibility and reactivate inactive products, combined with a Target ROAS setup to improve performance across the entire catalog.

Results

King Attitude now operates on a faster, mobile-optimized platform that improves the customer experience and increases operational efficiency for the internal team. The Shopify store supports both daily sales and seasonal drops with greater stability, while the revised advertising structure improves returns by concentrating investment on products and campaigns that generate measurable value. Together, these initiatives established a scalable foundation for sustained growth across e-commerce and paid media.
