Project Overview

B-Exit is an Italian luxury online store based in Città Sant’Angelo (Pescara), specializing in apparel, bags, shoes, and accessories from leading designer brands such as Gucci, Saint Laurent, Prada, Dolce&Gabbana, Valentino, Hogan, Fendi, and Bottega Veneta. The brand is known for offering discounts of up to 70% on strictly new and authentic products.

Following the partnership launch with Byte-Code of the new e-commerce platform, measurable improvements were recorded across both user experience and performance. Through an integrated effort spanning research, redesign, and Shopify Plus implementation, the store achieved a 57.5% increase in conversion rate and a 22% increase in average order value, improving usability and overall platform effectiveness.

Goal

The primary goal was to improve user experience, with a specific focus on communication and navigation across the e-commerce platform. This needed to translate into higher customer satisfaction, reduced friction, and increased sales, while maintaining trust, clarity, and luxury-level standards.

The Byte-Code Solution

Phase 1: Research
We conducted an in-depth analysis of customer feedback, support requests, and reviews to understand real needs and priorities. This included conversation analysis and qualitative insights to identify key friction points across the customer journey.

Phase 2: UX/UI Design
UX and UI designers worked closely with the marketing team to build a more modern, coherent, and intuitive experience. Product categorization, navigation, and checkout flows were redesigned with a clear focus on usability and conversion.

Phase 3: Technical Implementation on Shopify Plus
A robust and scalable Shopify Plus platform was developed, with advanced tracking systems integrated to monitor key funnel steps and support data-driven decisions. The new architecture simplified operations and improved efficiency across logistics and inventory management.

Phase 4: Optimization and LaunchBefore go-live, the platform underwent extensive usability and performance testing. After addressing critical issues and fine-tuning key details, the new site was launched with a targeted strategy to attract qualified traffic and improve conversion performance.
