Timepasses in Gotham City as well: the Police x The Batman project. The Police Lifestyle brand of the company De Rigo Spa based in Belluno, in partnership with Warner Bros, produced limited edition watches inspired by the film The Batman, released in cinemas across Europe starting from March 4, 2022. The exclusive limited edition Police x The Batman, with a global production of only 10,000 pieces, consists of four models: The Batman, Vengeance, Gotham City, and Catwoman.
Goals, Pre-Launch, and Launch: The Byte-Code Communication Campaign The advertising campaign's goal was to tell and promote the limited edition Police x The Batman watches through digital channels in five countries: Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. After identifying the client's needs and studying the target audience, we identified the channels that could best reach the target. We considered structuring the campaigns around two types of audiences: New users: Targeted based on interests related to watches and a passion for Batman. Engaged users: In other words, remarketing. Subsequently, we agreed with the Police team to divide the campaign into two phases: pre-launch and the official launch phase. The pre-launch phase aimed at lead generation through attractive copy and creatives to intrigue the target audience, generating expectation and stimulating curiosity. During the launch phase, the aim was to work on brand awareness, showcasing the release of these four models to a wide audience. In this way, we were able to test the performance of the following digital marketing channels during the pre-launch phase: Google Ads (Search, Discovery, and YouTube), Facebook and Instagram, TikTok, Twitter. On a creative level, we found it more effective to mostly use video teasers with translated copy in different languages. During the launch phase instead, besides videos showing the four watches finally discovered, we also included images to highlight the exclusivity of the models and the opportunity to purchase them in physical stores.
