Project Overview

CoccoleBimbi is a leading e-commerce brand specializing in luxury products for children. As traffic and catalog size grew rapidly, the business expanded quickly, exposing the limits of the original platform. While it had supported the company in its early stage, it could no longer scale reliably.

CoccoleBimbi discovered Byte-Code through word of mouth within the Digital Master Mind community, via Pietro Rossato, Digital Manager at PittaRosso, and partnered with us to build a faster, more scalable platform.

The Challenge

The main challenge was scalability. As traffic and product volume increased, the platform began to struggle, negatively affecting the user experience. Load times slowed and occasional service disruptions appeared, undermining the brand’s premium positioning.

At the same time, CoccoleBimbi had difficulty finding specialized partners able to maintain and evolve the platform. This slowed issue resolution and delayed the rollout of new features needed to improve the shopping experience.

The Byte-Code Solution

We implemented a headless replatforming on Shopify Plus, powered by XPHub, with the goal of delivering a fast, app-like mobile experience and improving overall platform performance. The solution was designed to ensure stability and give the internal team greater autonomy in managing the catalog and future improvements.

In parallel, we planned targeted optimizations to the on-site experience and landing pages to better align paid traffic with user intent, increasing the quality of sessions and supporting more efficient conversions.

Results

The partnership results reflected the impact of combining audience understanding with a scalable technology platform.

During the summer period, with the advertising budget unchanged, CoccoleBimbi achieved a 30% increase in sales, improving marketing efficiency and overall return.

The user experience improved through smoother and more intuitive navigation, contributing to higher engagement, improved conversion, and a lower bounce rate.

Campaigns and destination content were better aligned through the creation of highly relevant landing pages matched to search intent and ad messaging. This contributed to higher conversion efficiency, improved Google Ads optimization scores, and better cost per conversion and ad visibility.
